You will do at 10,000 kilometer intervals the drive shafts in your Gootsie! Today we look at a Quota. Here is mine up on bench and tied down. So no trips or falls, on my head.
Take lots of pics as you go, to ensure it goes back together as you found it. The swing arm pins, are installed to locate and centre the swing arm, so note how yours are before you loosen them. My fingers are making a L for left, side.
Note the threads.

The washers go where?
So the swing arm is out, you will want to grease all of the splines with high pressure grease, check the cardan joint, perhaps disassemble the cardan and grease it as well. Check the boot over the cardan joint, mine was perished, about USD $15.00 for a newy.
Now to paint the Swing arm and anything else that needs a touch up.
So while I had it apart I checked the paint , bolts and general area whereby the rear subframe bolts to the main frame. Time to paint if ur pedantic like me. Also clean the frame and use vasoline to increase conductivity where the earth cables bolt to the frame.
Also remove the last two suspension linkage bolts and grease/re grease the linkage friction points.

Update for my Quota drive shaft greasing.
- Did my shafts at 60k so 10,000k since last time.
- Found that the spline joints were just starting to dry out!
- So just dropped the lower suspension joint and swung the swing arm down and clear.
- Had a new uni joint rubber boot to go, so on she went. However with my sausage fingers could not get it to go over the gearbox case or swingarm. So just left it for now and pleasantly discovered that after ride both sides had mysteriously mounted themselves, so to speak.
