Relays - what each one controls

Relay positions (numbered from front to back of the motorcycle, or left to right as you are facing them)

Relay «1»: Horn (13)
«blinker»
Relay «2»: Starter (19)
Relay «3»: Lights (29)
Relay «4»: ECU (43)
Relay «5»: Fuel injection (41)

I may have relay 4 and relay 5 reversed...as one affects the other and I didn't take the time to fully figure that one out.

Howard Culbreth has reported that he has seen two Quota 1100ES machines where the relay/flasher placement is different. Specifically, those two Quota have three relays under the fuse box, the flasher unit, and then two more relays. I have no idea when or why Moto Guzzi made these changes. Nor do I have any information on what these relays control.
