A popular replacement police style windshield is the N2211 made by National Cycle.
Thanks to Daniel Howe for sending me his description and photos of fitting a National Cycle part number N2211 windshield to his Moto Guzzi Eldorado. In Daniel's own words:
Thought I'd share with you the mounting info for the new windshield on my 1972 Eldorado. The windshield I picked is a National Cycle Heavy Duty Touring Shield, their part number is N2211. The mounts I used are from Harper's Moto Guzzi their part number 011071. I had to trim an 1⁄8 inch off the bottom inside edge of the windshield to clear the mounts and add 1⁄4 inch spacers between the windshield frame the the mounts. Nothing hard or fancy pretty straight forward.
