Thanks to John Dyer for posting his idea for a tappet adjustment tool on the old Yahoo! Loopframe_Guzzi news group (which has now moved to Groups.io). This tool will be very useful when adjusting the valve clearances. In John's own words:
I made the adjustment wrench in the photo myself.
It's just a slot cut and filed in the end of an old spanner which had been sacrificed for something else. Original toolkits had something similar.
