I took these photos while assemblying the throttle for my Moto Guzzi Ambassador2.

Fit the metal plate first. Note that I've applied some grease to the surface on which the throttle tube will rotate.

This is the thumb screw and spring that will press against the rub block. The spring is cone shaped. The smaller diameter end should fit against the head of the thumb screw.
