Tail light CEV 9313 - Modify to fit an LED

Thanks to Andrew Morse for sending me this information about how he went about modifying a CEV 9313 tail light to fit an LED. In Andrew's own words and photos:

Here are some pics of my taillight project using an LED upgrade meant for a 1933 - 1936 Ford. (Left side brake light which has lights to illuminate the license plate). The standoffs were the best way I could come up with at the time to mount the assembly. I had to glue the clear lens into place because the rubber surround caused clearance issues. The mounting brackets are turned upside down to accommodate the standoffs. Surprisingly, the two mounting holes in the LED assembly line up perfectly with the original mounting holes in the light housing and lens. I tried getting a good pic of the finished product lit up, but the pic does not do it justice. The light is very bright.
