The overall length of this shaft is 164 mm.

The portion that goes through the gearbox casting is 134 mm.

The flange is 22 mm.

The picture shows the linkage of 8 mm thread with 8 mm heim joints. The thread needed to be bent slightly to give room for the clutch lever. I first built that like this about 20 years ago for my own V7 and it still works perfectly.
