Here are some common muffler options for the Moto Guzzi V700, V7 Special, Ambassador, 850 GT, 850 GT California, Eldorado, and 850 California Police models. I greatly prefer mufflers that maintain the crossover as original, particularly on 700 cc and 750 cc models.

Mac mufflers

Please be advised of the following characteristics of Mac mufflers:
- Mac mufflers do not have a crossover. In my experience, the lack of a crossover pipe negatively impacts performance.
- Mac mufflers do not fit with the stock center stand. Some owners bend or remove the deployment tabs of the center stand to permit the stand to fully retract without making contact with the bottom of the muffler. Bending the deployment arms downward decreases cornering clearance.
- Mac mufflers clamp to the header pipe at the same location as where the shift pedal connects to the splined shaft (on models with foot pegs). The clamp and muffler location tend to interfere with the shift pedal movement/rotation.
