Thanks to Don Fraser for sending me this information via e-mail. Don spoke with Mike Rich of Mike Rich Motorsports. Mike measured the difference between the edge and the crown on a factory V11 tappet/lifter. The difference was 0.002 inch.

I do not know what grinding radius this works out to be, but Greg Field has mentioned the re-grind radius is typically in the range of 1 m to 4 m. Perhaps I'll do the math on this some day
